About Me
Professional: I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and have been working supporting youth, adults and families with Mental Health Challenges since 2005. Since 2018 I have been working from more of a Somatic perspective focusing on the trauma and wisdom we hold in our bodies.. I have training in other modalities including Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, DBT and bring a trauma and AOP informed lens to all of my work. I have dedicated my work within the 2SILGBTQ+ communities and support people through questions of gender and sexuality. I also support families and caregivers supporting youth during their gender journeys. I have worked with folks with complex mental health challenges including; anxiety, depression, PTSD, BPD, dissociation.

Personal:
I have personal lived experience with mental health challenges and my own recovery journey informs my client centred strength based approach. I identify as non binary, queer, neurodiverse and use pronouns they/them/their.

What to expect
Both on our phone consult and intial appointment we will explore what it is you want to work on, what your goals are and what modality would be the best fit. If you are not too sure yet what that might be, we can do that together to see how I support you to make the changes you would like to see in your life. This is always trauma-informed. We will be on this journey together and I honour that you are the expert in your own life, experience and story.
fees
I offer a sliding scale fee structure based on factors like housing stability, identity, and financial situation. Rates range from pro-bono to $130, with the full fee set at $150. Those able to contribute $150 are appreciated. There's also an option to pay it forward at $180.
