Dialectic Behavioural Therapy was developed from Marsha Linhan initially for folks who were suicidal or self harming and has been seen as the treatment of choice for those with diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder. DBT has been found useful for anyone struggling with regulating emotions regardless of diagnosis.   

DBT is a therapy modality that can be helpful when you want to make changes in some behaviours you are not happy with.  It has been coined as a therapy to help you build a life worth living.  

DBT is a skills based therapy that includes mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
